Yes, your privacy is a top priority. All sessions and personal information are kept confidential in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. Information will only be shared with your written consent, except in specific situations required by law, such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.

Our fees vary based on the service provided. Additionally, Hickson's By Sammi does not believe finances should stop you from receiving help. As such, we can work with your financial structure to find a price that works for you. Payment is due at the time of service. We offer refunds for prepaid sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance; cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable. Refunds for unused sessions for package services are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our practice accepts some insurance through third-party billers, including Headway, Rula, Alma, and Lyra. We take Aetna, Anthem, Anthem EAP-Bank of America, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, Decent, and Quest Behavioral Health. However, some insurance does provide out-of-network benefits, and we will gladly provide any information your insurance might need.

The No Surprises Act protects you from unexpected medical bills, including for mental health services. As part of this act, we provide a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of services before they begin, giving you a clear picture of your financial commitment.
